The Fine Art against all risks insurance plan is suitable for individuals who own fine art, for organizations such as museums, art galleries and transportation companies. To ensure we cover multiple different needs, the following were created:
The all-risks policy which covers Fine Art that can be found as content in homes, including: Fine art at home, paintings, photographs, lithographs, books, sculpture and non-fragile structures, objects from non-valuable metals or wood, porcelain, glass and other fragile objects, antique furniture, wall clocks and watches and other mechanical artworks, golden, silver and other valuable metals, jewelry, fur and rugs.
The all-risks policy which covers Fine Art during display, exhibitions or transit covers: Museums, Art Galleries, Items in Safety Deposit Boxes, Collections owned by Large Businesses, Collections and Collectibles which may be of high value but are not fine art such as stamps, Transportation - Exhibitions, Storage per Month, Rugs, Silverware, Jewelry.
To insure fine art, there must be specific safety and exemption measures in place, depending on the type of the insured items, the height of the insured amount and the space in which fine art is kept and stored.
Damages & risks caused, originating or arising directly or indirectly, in whole or partially from: normal wear and tear, age, progressive deterioration, inherent defect, pre-existing flaw, rust or oxidation, moth or insects, deformation, repair, restoration or similar, preservation, dry air, humidity, exposure to light or high temperature etc., are not covered.
